“Do not just maintain the leadership role inside the campus, but take it outside as the young leaders are the future,” said Sri. Chris Pohl, CEO, Ammirato food Pvt. Ltd, Chief Guest during the investiture ceremony held on July 12, 2017 at Kristu Jayanti College. He spoke about the responsibility being put forth as the mission of leadership. He also appreciated the college for acknowledging the importance of carrying on one’s culture and traditions regardless of westernization through the Kannada Literary Club. He further indicated that over time, ignorance has become more expensive than education.
Fr Josekutty P.D, Principal, highlighted that ‘leadership is all about efficiency and effectiveness of doing the right things at the right time’. He also highlighted on the importance of planning , executing and working in teams in order to be a better leader. “The investiture is a platform where in the old and the new meet and exchange responsibilities and ideas in order to bring about a better outcome” said Demetrius Jacob, a 3rd year BBA student.
Mr. Samson Easo and Ms. Sreevidya N were selected as Student Secretaries of Literary and Cultural Association. The various Departmental Secretaries are Dylan Joshua D’Cruz and Rajatha for Life Sciences Department, Benjamin Lazar, Ghanri Satish, Bobby George and Katherine Saju for Commerce Department, Kamana Jalan and Elias Solomon Jothi for BBA department and Mohammed Tayyab, Leo Lukose and Analya Jose for Humanities Department took oath in this ceremony.
